Wackes continues its commitment to being industry leader when it comes to sustainability and quality adding a whole new role – sustainability manager. Thus, the next step is to secure the delivery of value-added product media with minimal environmental impact.

– It requires ambition, comprehension and understanding, covering everything from design and trends, material selection, manufacturing and logistics to ensure that high quality purchase channels meet sustainability goals such as environmental requirements and stated guidelines for social responsibility, “says Elin Axelsson, who looks forward to completing the team at Wackes with her experience from the international fashion industry.

Elin Axelsson has long experience of quality management with a high focus on risk management in the fashion industry and international brands. It is an industry that in many ways is forced to be at the forefront of responsibility for both the environment and human beings. It’s all about having processes and routines to comply with laws, guidelines and limits, “explains Elin Axelsson, and says she sees at Wackes a stated ambition to really challenge the promotional industry and to be a leader when it comes to responsible production.

– Product media itself is complex with incredibly many products and thus many materials. We want to raise awareness among our customers while meeting their demands for impact and sustainability.
